Need help with assembly, packaging, collating or labeling? Managing labor costs is a major challenge to running a successful business in today's just-in-time climate. To stay competitive, you might have considered outsourcing some of your operations such as jobs that involve repetitive, manual steps or exceed your resources.
For nearly 50 years, ARC Industries employees have performed this work in our four strategically located sheltered workshops. With 150,000 square feet of production space and the latest semi-automated machinery for packaging/converting, ARC delivers quality contract work completed by over 1000 motivated adults with disabilities.
Outside the workshop facilities, ARC’s Employment Services Department provides challenging job opportunities for another 800 adults who are prepared to assume more personal responsibility. The Janitorial Division sends supervised crews to over 20 business locations to fulfill commercial cleaning contracts. On-Site Crews travel to customer locations with their supervisor to perform assembly, packaging, collating and light housekeeping while experiencing the daily routine of an office setting. For our adults who are ready to assume independence, the Job Placement division seeks to match their skills with interested employers. We provide on-the-job training and follow up supervision for positions such as quality control, courtesy clerking, ticket takers and food service workers.
